Branch routers fall into two categories, Enterprise Connectivity and Enterprise Continuity.
CONNECTIVITY
- Store within a Store, where there is a separate network backbone for security purposes
- Day one connectivity, where your hard-wired broadband connection is not yet installed and your enterprise needs connectivity
- Pop-Up stores - ideal for seasonal retail, open markets, and any other temporary business
- Disruption of wired broadband as a result of storms, construction accidents, etc.
- Network failover where the Ericsson/CradlePoint functions as a secondary network
CONTINUITY
Seamless Failover-Backup of your primary edge router with 5G or LTE adapters for immediate network recovery as a result of wired broadband network failure.
In-Band and Out-of-Band Management-Troubleshoot connectivity and diagnose other IT issues remotely through Out-of-Band Management (OOBM) and in-band control of devices on the LAN.
