The E100 is designed for a small office or a home office. It has the security and routing features of the more powerful E300 or the E3000, but at a lower price point and lower throughput. When compared to the E300, the E100 does not have the expandability.

The E100 is available with 2 modem choices. It is available with a Cat 7 - 4G LTE or a 5G Standalone modem. Optional Equipment includes an optional battery/batteries for uninterrupted power and SIM installation for ease of deployment.  The Cat 7 model can have 2 optional batteries installed.  The 5G model is only able to have 1 battery installed.  The Cat 7 model has 2 cellular antennas and a GPS SMA port.  The 5G model has the GPS muxed with external cellular antennas.

The E100 does not have some of the other features the E300 has. It cannot be used as a controller for a captive modem. It cannot have a 2nd modem added. The E100 is ideal for retail stores, where there is a store within a store. It is also ideal for kiosks or for remote workers. The sweet spot as to the number of clients is 5. This is not a hard and fast number, but only a recommendation based on estimated usage for each client.
