The E300 is part of the Enterprise Location Routers. It is the Mid Level router designed for mid size offices. The sweet spot for the number of clients is 50. Again, this is not a hard and fast number. 50 is the estimate for the number of clients using it for an average amount of resource.

The E300 has more power and throughput than the E100. It can accept a 2nd modem. It is able to act as a controller for a captive modem. A captive modem is a cellular adapter which is used as a connected modem which is placed in a location for good data reception, while the E300 functions as a controller and can be placed in a secure location. Several of the SKUs below are for the E300 router and a captive modem, the 1800 and the 1850 5G adapters.

The E300 is available in 3 embedded modem choices:

  • 5G modem - capable of low and mid band frequencies
  • Cat 7 modem - capable of 300 Mbps down and 100 Mbps up
  • Cat 18 modem - capable of 1200 Mbps down and 300 Mbps up

The WiFi is internal in the E300. There are no external WiFi antennas. The WiFi antennas are embedded in the router.

Accessories include a BlueTooth Module for the E300, an additional modem as well as Advanced NCM services which include services such as Application Aware Traffic Steering.
